On December 10, shareholder attorney Allison Peryea provided the legal perspective on a panel of industry experts regarding the process of universal application of RCW 64.90 (the Washington Uniform Common Interest Ownership Act, or WUCIOA) to all community associations in Washington State. This panel occurred at the Annual Chapter Luncheon, which featured an ugly sweater theme and competition and holiday games, at the Bellevue Hilton. The event was co-sponsored by Peryea Silver Taylor. The event also included WSCAI’s Annual Meeting, at which it was announced that Allison will be serving her sixth and final year of her two, three-year terms on the WSCAI Board next year. Attorney Lauren Olson, our new head of the firm’s WUCIOA Drafting Department, also attended the luncheon. Attendees, including our firm’s attorneys, brought donations for the annual Toys for Tots drive as well.
