On March 18, 2025, Shareholder Attorney Bennett Taylor testified before the Washington State legislature to advocate on behalf of WSCAI in response to Senate Bill 5686, which seeks to amend current assessment foreclosure laws in Washington. Bennett is a member of the Legislative Action Committee (LAC) and is working with other stakeholders in providing input on this bill to make housing more affordable for all Washingtonians.
