On October 18, attorneys and staff of Peryea Silver Taylor attended Community Associations (CA) Day, an event organized by the Washington State Community Associations Institute. CA Day is Washington State’s largest annual educational event and trade show for condominium and HOA communities, held at the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle. This year was sold out, with 800 registrations!
Four Peryea Silver Taylor attorneys presented as panelists. Chawisa Laicharoenwat presented about compliance related to collection of delinquent assessments in light of Senate Bill 5686. Allison Peryea presented about resale certificates and disclosure documents. David Silver presented about large-scale reclad projects. And Mary Reiten presented on dealing with difficult people.
This year there were great opportunities to connect with community members and business partners, and to learn more about the impact of the Uniform Act on our state communities. We cannot wait for next year!
